This film, of sights and sounds to stimulate and soothe, had been produced specifically for use by care staff working with older people with dementia and can also be used to support care staff training in reminiscence. The film is divided into four sections: spring, summer, autumn & winter and has a range of domestic, wildlife, workplace and leisure sequences, much of it shot across Derbyshire and features familiar music and well known poems and prose. Simon Groom, former Blue Peter presenter, generously offered his services to recite some of the poems.
